A visit to the nature centre ("naturum") is an experience for all the senses and for people of all ages. See, touch, listen, smell and learn more about the natural and human history of Färnebofjärden National Park.
Located at the edge of roaring rapids amidst the historic setting of Gysinge Bruk, the visitor centre is an inspiring gateway to the National Park. The Färnebofjärden visitor centre is operated by the Gävleborg County Administrative Board. Information on other National Parks and visitor centres in Sweden is available on the web site of the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency.

The old stable of the Gysinge works, built in 1814, has been converted into a Visitor Centre for the National Park. The visitor centre is called ”naturum”, and was inaugurated in 2005.
