Exhibits in the iron works' old stable. Here, you will be able to learn more about the special attractions of Färnebofjärden. What is a "fjärd"? Of what use are mosquitoes, and what is the most effective way to cope with them? Knowledgeable people will be on hand to explain more about the area's natural and human history. Visitors will be able to deepen their knowledge with the books and journals of the library.

An activity station is located beside the Naturum. This offers playful activities through which both children and adults will be able to increase their knowledge of the area's history and natural forces.

A bridge to the old mill makes it possible to walk out to the middle of the rapids and feel the power of the roaring water. You are able to visit the beautiful ruins of the old mill and learn more about how the power of the rapids was put to use.

Walking paths through the national park pass by the Naturum. Along the paths, there will be placards with information about plants, animals and other natural features of the area.

Other activities are provided in co-operation with local entrepreneurs. Among other things, you will be able to go boating in the waters of the national park, or hire a guide for fishing or bird-watching. There will also be guided tours of the exhibition, and "theme days" with guest speakers and special activities.
